I haven't played enough FE6 to know the political shenanigans here, but I will say that I'm still frustrated with Roy for pulling a tome OUT OF HIS BUTT TO HAND TO LILINA after I went through all the annoyance to trade her a spare since she refused to talk to him for a turn or something

According to /Lissa S they are alive and well, not under much stress, and you seem to be on at least good enough terms with them to keep constant contact.
